sites fully approved, i forget, did you find out how to do a wp install on their server? i know there isnt one click option, but maybe manual is easy?
Taylor Bernard on September 14, 2015:
i think i found out the admin portal they had setup. using cpanel or something. and in all the tutorials i found online for cpanel + wp install it had a 'app' icon or something similar, like MT. theirs didnt have it. it was like bare bones cpanel with like cgibin and php and thats all. asked you about it and i think you said may have to do it manually or something.
Justin Bernard on September 15, 2015:
focus on this today, see if you can manually get it installed
Taylor Bernard on September 15, 2015:
got this installed.
but giving me some errors on the WP Config step by step installer.
Justin Bernard on September 16, 2015:
What you sinus move the old site into an archive folder, then install wp
Then you export the content out of our wp build on AB server, import that into new build, then copy over the theme, and it should work
Justin Bernard on September 16, 2015:
get backup of the current wp install on aB server first. export the database content, then save a local copy of the theme. that way once the other one is in place, you can move quickly and make them match.
not making much sense. db is 1 click to install, user is 1 click plus pw, then just a drop down to assign user to certain db privs
Justin Bernard on September 16, 2015:
been on phone with server for an hour trying to sort out...
Taylor Bernard on September 16, 2015:
you think its deep server side for real?
Justin Bernard on September 16, 2015:
this server is sitting in like upstate new york
so, yeah...
Taylor Bernard on September 16, 2015:
is this that export thing you were talking about? doesnt say anything about db export. want to make sure this isnt low level and just export post or something to an xml.
