Main Site Pages:
I see about 7 pages that Kathleen can develop the copy for, but we'll need to discuss next week. I want to nail down how we work together. I'm thinking if you can share mockups of main site pages as your move through the site, Kathleen can then develop the copy for those pages. She is talking with Kyle and Tom to nail down voice and tone and what not.

Architecture & SEO Pages:
Rose has put together a new visualization of the site architecture that incorporates SEO landing pages.
I've shared with you the following docs:
spreadsheet with suggested plan for activities pages
The nodes highlighted in yellow are SEO pages.
We are working on SEO pages in 2 ways:
- Rewriting pages that are useful for the end user - total new design and everything.
- Minor edits on less user-focused pages and interlinking those pages to funnel users into more useful sections of the site
Let's discuss your design plans for the layout of the gallery/lifestyle section of the site. We see the SEO activities pages fitting into this part of the site. Currently the lifestyle page: http://www.sylvansport.com/go/lifestyle/ lists activities, but does not link to them. We have pages for all these activities. That is where we'd love a template from you.
I've also included a little drawing of what that could look like.
Questions:
- Do you anticipate that the gallery/lifestyle section is the same for the GO and GO Easy or different?
- You have pics and videos listed under the lifestyle section and within the blog. Let's discuss.
- I want to further explore how we are going to utilize the blog. During our initial joint meeting with Kyle and Tom we discussed using the blog to focus on photo journalism and adventure. I've very interested in hearing more about your vision for the blog.
- I'm not sold on the "plan a trip" section. I like customer trips and photographer trips as something to highlight - but I see that as potentially being a category or feature of the blog. Currently the plan a trip section is very weak. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts.

Same layout, but different pictures.

No to pics under the blog. Also not sure why we put videos under lifestyle, did we have videos in mind for that?

We want to use a lot from the photographers and here about their experiences. The blog can also be used for people to get to know your brand and you guys, like you events or the progress as a company. You could also use it as an advice column about what you should pack for different seasons and etc.

I loved the idea of the “Plan a Trip” section because it helps potential customers or just site visitors learn about cool places around them or us in NC. I think a lot of people will enjoy it just for a fun read.
I envision it a lot like a blog but separate from the blog, I want this section to be specifically dedicated to trips and camping experiences whereas the blog can be events and everyday things about Sylvan and its photographers, employees, etc.
This could also be used to generate visitors and competitions, like whoever sends in the best story wins a shirt or whatever.
This will also provide customers with nice places to visit.
