never seen this unit. but seen some micro WiFi ones out there. as far as ive read up so far, and may be off here. But WiFi takes WAY more power than BTLE. its better for 'networking' with multiple devices on a chain than BTLE is though. BTLE if im right likes to be paired with one other device. Also WiFi isnt direct to the other end in a system like that. it pings, uploads to 3G or WiFi, then other end downloads the info. basically like a cell phone. BTLE is straight line of sight to other device. so if it was large large scale implementation (across city) then WiFi would be awesome. within couple hundred yards in the open, BTLE easier.
