heres turlock to santa clara transit. (cutter to ano)

1.5hrs away. looks like ground and next day air get their at same time guranteed.

if laser etch ships out WED after 4PM. still showing it will get to you FRI before 3PM.

ano is ready to ship. if we do next day air saver. is 85$, will get to him Tues 3PM. should be plenty of time. to do Tues AM is going to be 105$

if we go faster to the laser, and try to get it out TUES PM, then just do priority USPS 2-3 Day. TECHNICALLY should be friday, but you know how it is, may show up saturday. to risky

rings got all messed up. anything the paint touched while sitting on got ripped up when moved. bumpy texture on the top and paper residue stuck to the bottom. trying to sand off with 2000 grit but not really coming off without messing up look.

only way to have done it was hang them by the micro screw hole and paint one at a time.

ok i cleaned some up. most of the paper residue came off with a wet rag,
they look somewhat decent now. not perfect. but have to look real close to see imperfections. cleaned up 4 pair

24 black nickel
8 bronze
8 flat black repaint

the 24 blk nickel is honestly probably enough, i thought we only were getting 20 of those

if the new blk ones dont look terrible, mail as is maybe

shoot out this mornign so can put it on priority envelope/cheap, clean the blk you painted up best you can

still not seeing how 3.4" x 11' x 6.8" is weighing 27#

got an invoice (paid) mailed to me today from santa clara plating for $364.  uh, that sound high?  thats $220 for plating and $114 shipping and $30 tax on top of all that, didnt know it was supposed to be close to that high?

i got that one in too. the 114 is ship and 30.06 is tax.
whats the deal on the tax you think? we paid via out of state CC, but shipped it to a CA resident?

just checked and D&D didnt charge us sales tax. did same thing there.

checked with anodizer on that tax

"Sorry, Taylor. Due to the ship address being in California and we do not have their resale card,
the state makes us collect the tax.  If we had shipped back to you, it would have been deemed
"out of state" and non-taxable.

Anyone we ship to in California, we have to have the resale card or we have to charge tax."


heres total for everything on my end. i think this is everything - printing cost.

like was it well received?  heck yeah.  steve/pres of kiska pulled me to side to say the deck was amazing nice.  tom, the guy in white shirt that kinda led it, sent email yesterday saying it was amazing.  for low run/quick turn, that about as good as one could hope for
