Laser cutting references/cost

original estimate was:
445$ material + cutting cost
85$ laser setup
20$ shipping

says laser cutting cost in that is about 100$.
so 335$ in material.

can get material else where WAY cheaper.
possibly sub 160$.
so possibly 345$ material + cutting

wish i could get that 85$ down, but they havent wanted to budge on that setup charge last couple times.

yeh i dont see why not.

yeh didnt expect it to be that much. couple of small pieces ive goten before havent been that noticeably bad guys even if its just slightly higher * quantity we need it gets $

want to try and get a better look than that. just stacking layer on top of another layer with a cutout, pretty much already know what that looks like 2d

i think the overlay effect would look pretty cool. gonna finish building the pages out and do a ring binder.
lines in the texture is just reflection from light box

also i know you said you wanted to try to incorporate a 'race part' into the design. what about the right side where i have the ktm logo something like the edge of a rotor or sprocket. maybe 'uncurled' into a flat side, or have a semi circle side on the booklet, would take a lot of the real estate away but may not need it.
